1. Who is responsible
This policy covers the PayTuber studio at https://paytuber.io. “We” means the operator of that site. Questions about your data go to [email protected].
This policy describes the PayTuber studio. It does not describe other products that use a different address.
2. What we collect
Account and login
- Your email address, and a password if you create one. The password is stored as a hash by our authentication provider. We do not see the password itself.
- If you use Google, we receive the name, email address, and profile identifier that Google shares for sign-in. We do not receive your Google password.
- A session cookie so you stay signed in, and a short-lived cookie used only to finish a Google sign-in.
The studio
- Projects, scripts, prompts, pictures, voice choices, music choices, and exported films.
- Files you upload, including a voice sample or a reference image.
- A YouTube address or a search phrase you paste, so the studio can read public information about that film. We do not connect to your YouTube channel and we do not upload videos for you.
- Credit balance, plan, and a ledger of grants and spends.
Payment
- Lemon Squeezy collects the card, tax, and billing details. We receive the result: which product was bought, the amount, the currency, a customer reference, and whether the payment succeeded. We do not store the full card number.
Technical data
- IP address, browser type, and the time of a request, in server logs, so we can keep the service online and investigate abuse.
- Messages you send to support.
3. Why we use it
- To create and run your account, render films, and keep your projects.
- To add credits, renew a subscription, and prevent the same payment from being granted twice.
- To answer support and copyright notices.
- To block the content our Terms of Service forbid, including sexual content involving minors.
- To secure the service and understand which pages fail.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your films to advertise a third party’s product. We do not train a public model on your private projects.
4. Who processes it
We use processors who only receive what their task needs:
- Supabase, for the account and the database;
- Lemon Squeezy, for checkout, tax, and receipts;
- the model providers that render an image, a voice, music, or motion when you confirm a generation;
- the host that serves the website and stores project files.
A prompt and the files needed for that render are sent to the model provider for that request. Do not put a secret you cannot share into a prompt.
Google’s own policy applies to the Google sign-in step. Lemon Squeezy’s policy applies to the checkout page.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data and projects stay until you delete them or close the account.
- Payment records and invoices are kept for the period accounting law requires, even after the account is closed.
- Server logs are kept for a limited operational period and then deleted or rotated.
- A one-way hash of an email may be kept after deletion so the same person cannot claim the welcome credits twice. The hash cannot be turned back into the email address.
6. Closing an account
Write to [email protected] from the account email and ask us to close it. We delete the projects, uploaded files, and studio profile. An active subscription should be cancelled first so it does not renew. Money already paid is handled under the Refund Policy. Invoices stay for the legal retention period.
7. Your requests
You may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold, a correction, or deletion, subject to the invoices we must keep. Write to [email protected]. You may also complain to the data protection authority in your country. If you used Google to sign in, you can remove PayTuber’s access from your Google account settings. That stops a future Google sign-in. It does not by itself delete projects already stored. Ask us to close the account for that.
8. Children
PayTuber is for adults. We do not knowingly create an account for anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has an account, write to [email protected] and we will close it.
9. Security
Access to the studio is over HTTPS. Sessions are stored in cookies marked so that scripts on the page cannot read the sign-in secret. No method of storage is perfect. Use a password you do not use anywhere else, and write to us if you see activity you do not recognise.
10. Changes
We will post changes on this page and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us in a way you would not expect, we will also email the account address.
